Travel Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
1. Introduction
These Travel Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the travel planning and booking services provided by Atelier Voyage, independently operated by Brenda Santos ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or requesting a travel itinerary, you ("client," "you," or "your") agree to these Terms in full.
Please read these Terms carefully before proceeding with any booking. If you have questions, contact us at contact@ateliervoyagetravel.com before confirming your travel arrangements.
2. Our Role as Your Travel Advisor
Atelier Voyage acts as an independent travel advisor. We work with a global network of hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and travel partners.
We combine firsthand travel experience with our supplier relationships to design personalized itineraries on your behalf. We do not own, operate, or control any airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, car rental company, or other travel supplier. We act solely as an intermediary between you and the relevant travel suppliers.
3. Bookings & Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the individual travel supplier at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed only when the supplier has issued a confirmation and any required deposit or full payment has been received.
Deposits and final payment deadlines vary by supplier, destination, and travel dates. We will communicate all payment deadlines to you in writing. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation by the supplier, and Atelier Voyage bears no responsibility for losses arising from missed payment deadlines.
Prices quoted are based on rates available at the time of inquiry and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed and payment is received. Currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, and supplier price changes may affect the final cost.
We accept payment methods as communicated to you during the booking process. Payments may be processed through the applicable travel supplier or an approved third-party payment processor, depending on the reservation.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation and amendment policies vary by supplier, fare type, and booking conditions. All cancellation and change requests must be submitted to us in writing at contact@ateliervoyagetravel.com.
Many travel products — including flights, cruises, tours, and hotel reservations — are non-refundable or subject to significant cancellation penalties. We will communicate the specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking before you confirm.
Atelier Voyage is not responsible for cancellation penalties, fees, or losses imposed by travel suppliers. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment.
If a supplier cancels or significantly alters your travel arrangements, we will work on your behalf to secure alternatives or refunds in accordance with the supplier's policies. We cannot guarantee refunds or compensation from third-party suppliers.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and baggage loss or delay.
Certain travel-insurance benefits may require purchasing coverage within a specified period after the initial trip deposit. Clients should review the applicable policy terms, eligibility requirements, exclusions, and deadlines before purchasing coverage.
Atelier Voyage does not provide travel insurance. We can provide information about travel insurance options, but the decision to purchase and the selection of a policy remain entirely your responsibility. We are not licensed insurance advisors.
Declining travel insurance is done at your own risk. Atelier Voyage accepts no liability for losses that would have been covered by travel insurance.
6. Benefits, Amenities & Supplier Terms
Available benefits and amenities vary by property, cruise line, booking, and travel dates. Any complimentary amenities, upgrades, or perks described are subject to availability at the time of check-in or travel and are not guaranteed.
Supplier terms, conditions, and policies — including check-in/check-out times, dress codes, age restrictions, and included services — are set by the individual supplier and may change without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant supplier terms to you.
Atelier Voyage is not responsible for any failure by a supplier to deliver promised amenities, services, or experiences. Any complaints or claims regarding supplier performance should be directed to the supplier directly, though we will assist you in communicating with suppliers where possible.
7. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and any required health documentation, for all destinations on your itinerary.
Passport validity requirements vary by country. Many destinations require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. It is your responsibility to verify current entry requirements with the relevant embassies, consulates, or official government sources.
Atelier Voyage may provide general guidance on visa and entry requirements as a courtesy, but this information is not guaranteed to be current or complete. We accept no liability for denied boarding, entry refusal, or costs arising from inadequate travel documentation.
8. Health, Safety & Travel Advisories
You are responsible for consulting your healthcare provider regarding any vaccinations, medications, or health precautions recommended for your destinations.
We recommend monitoring travel advisories issued by the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov) before and during your travel.
Atelier Voyage is not responsible for events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, or acts of terrorism. We strongly recommend travel insurance that includes coverage for these circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
Atelier Voyage acts as an agent for travel suppliers and is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from the acts or omissions of any travel supplier, including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, car rental companies, or any other service provider.
Our liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid directly to Atelier Voyage for the specific services in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pennsylvania.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Travel Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available at ateliervoyagetravel.com/travel-terms. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
